Scott Polar Research Institute and the Botanical Gardens

24th April 2018

On the 24th April the whole of KS2 travelled to Cambridge to visit the Scott Polar Research Institute to discover more about polar exploration and see some of the artifacts that were taken on Scott's infamous expedition to the South Pole in 1911. They also had the chance to try on some of the clothes that would be needed to keep warm in such a cold environment. Both classes also visited the beautiful botanical gardens in Cambridge and had the opportunity to view a variety of plants that grow in different environments around the world.
