Whole School Science Day

9th March 2016

The whole school participated in a Science Day today and all had a fantastic time. Each teacher planned a hands on science activity based around the topic 'spaces' and each child was able to carry out two different activities during the morning.
Mrs Morley led an activity based on 'outer space', Mrs Laycock looked at 'built space', Mrs McPherson investigated 'open space' while Mrs Walker looked at 'colourful space'. Children participated in their house teams and it was lovely to see the older and younger children coming together and supporting each other to learn through hands on investigative tasks.
