World Book Day

To celebrate World Book Day this week we ran a number of activities to celebrate the encourage a love of reading. It was great to see cuddly toys of all shapes and sizes come into school for children to read aloud to. The teachers moved around during the day to share some of their favourite books with a different class. The children were also invited to bring their favourite books into class and did a paired comprehension challenge in their classes which required them to write a short quiz about their favourite book and answer another child’s quiz.
